Turned on the news today. Nothing special as usual. There was one thing, though, but it was probably nothing. Word is that the government is trying to cover up something the space agency found. They said it was like something they had never seen before. A giant ball of energy floating through space. Floating towards us. Sounds sketchy to me, so maybe it's just rubbish.
Today was average, besides the rumors. Woke up, spent the day at the academy, ate dinner, and now I find myself here. I've been working on this new idea I had a few days ago. I'm trying to use an atom synthesizer to create a new tetravalent metal capable of absorbing and storing light energy, which would come most likely from our parent star, which can be released through a silicon globe. It would eliminate the need for electrically-powered lights. It is hard to create a stable form of the metal, though. Guess I should stick to painting.
It's getting late, but I've hardly even written anything... Today was just busy, I guess. I will definitely be writing more tomorrow. This journal thing wasn't a bad idea. Thanks, Cleo.
